I have to tell you that this book is a great coffee table book! Of course I absolutely loved reading it, and couldn't help but laugh out loud at some comments...but it certainly gets the party talking when people come over and see it sitting there! Thanks for writing something so informative, but also fun making it easy to remember in a professional way.Pamela Chadwick (U.K)
We were in need. Our waxer was technically good and has a great personality, but she was nervous with our clients which showed up in all kinds of mishaps. One day with Claire and all of that went away. Claire was fun, clear and effective. She managed to pin-point every area that was simply not working and by the end of our session, our Esthetician had a whole new take on her work. Thank you Claire, for coming to the rescue. I stumbled across The British Aestheticians Guide to Waxing The Twigs and Berries book merely by accident and i am glad that I did. I bought the book for my friend who is going through school for her birthday and read it before i gave it to her! I am not a waxer (I am actually an accountant!!) so even though some of the technical stuff went over my head, I still feel i could wax myself now if need be!! Thanks!
Last week I took a wax class with Claire! Her class was great and she made me feel totally at ease. She has a natural warmth about her, that makes you feel like you have known her for a long time! Included in the class was a copy of one of her books, a button and a certificate that I can now display in my treatment room. If you are contemplating learning waxing, then Claire is your gal!! The British Aestheticians Guide to Waxing the Lady Garden is not like the usual boring text books that can be found on waxing. Claire submitted to her reader’s useful bits of information and tips that can help any person working in this industry. Crickett “The Wax Chick” California.
