Thanks so much for writing this book Clare. I liked that in the book you not only talked about wax,but you also helped me understand how to care for clients and how to treat them special. Seneta (Idaho)Seneta Bandereta (Idaho)
I stumbled across The British Aestheticians Guide to Waxing The Twigs and Berries book merely by accident and i am glad that I did. I bought the book for my friend who is going through school for her birthday and read it before i gave it to her! I am not a waxer (I am actually an accountant!!) so even though some of the technical stuff went over my head, I still feel i could wax myself now if need be!! Thanks!
COMING SOON!! The British Aestheticians Guide to Waxing the Lady Garden (launching in May 2012) is not like the usual boring text books that can be found on waxing. Claire submitted to her reader’s useful bits of information and tips that can help any person working in this industry. Crickett “The Wax Chick” California.
COMING SOON!! The British Aestheticians Guide to Waxing the Lady Garden is a witty yet practical guide to the wonderful world of waxing, a topic many aestheticians struggle with. Claire writes with a sensitive blend of humour and authority, approaching her subject matter with a chatty, down-to-earth style that everyone can understand. It is a delight to read and a ‘must have’ reference for anyone in the industry. Andy Rouillard. Axiom Bodyworks. U.K
Well Claire, Today while my husband was in for surgery getting a knee replacement I read your book. I thoroughly enjoyed every page of it. Could not help but laugh throughout. I may have been waxing for many years but I've also always worked for myself so it was very reassuring to see how similar our views on waxing, the public and our wax styles are.I went to school in Canada and was taught by French and Hungarian teachers so I can only imagine I was given much of the same wisdom and wonderful European teachings your teachers gave you. Yet it was still enlightening to read sections that gave me pause to thought and to consider other options. I used to tell my fellow students that they need to be actresses and treat clients exactly how you would want to be treated and was absolutely chuffed to see you describe it the same way. I just mailed the other copy I ordered to my British friend who just started the Esthetic program a month ago here in Michigan. I think all Estheticians should have this book because not everyone can have as much common sense and be as bright as us!!!!! LOL Jennifer (Michigan)Jennifer Johnston
